Student Employment Wages

Rates of pay for Student Employment will be as follows or state minimum wage whichever is greater:

(This is based on Missouri minimum wage)

* * Effective 01/01/2024 **

1st year = $12.30/hr.

2nd year (returning to same position/dept) = $12.80/hr.

3rd year (returning to same position/dept) = +$0.50 extra

4th year (returning to same position/dept) = +$0.50 extra

** 5th year returners and going forward will make no more than the amount for 4th year or State Minimum Wage ***

Rates of pay for Student Employment in the Academic Support Center:

* * Effective 08/14/2023 **

Note Takers - $12.00/hr. work no less than 3 hours per week

*** Note taker wages are set and not subject to increase regardless of "returner" status ***

Student Tutors - 1st year = $12.30/hr.

2nd year (returning Student Tutor) = +$0.50 extra

3rd year (returning Student Tutor) = +$0.50 extra

4th year (returning Student Tutor) = +$0.50 extra

*** 5th year returners and going forward will make no more than $12.95/hr. ***
