I can't find something in my Canvas course or I am having trouble understanding the organization/assignments for this course.

The first step in your search should be to contact your instructor. Before class begins or after class ends, introduce yourself and ask for assistance with your specific question. If you need to reach out digitally, please contact your instructor from within Canvas. To contact your instructor, from within your Course, click 'Inbox' (left hand menu) > Click 'Compose a new message' (pencil icon at top of page) > Choose Course and To > type in a Subject and Message > click Send button.

I can't log in to my Email, MyPark, or Canvas.

How do I get a course extension (Incomplete)?

Contact your instructor (see above instructions) to see if you qualify. You will need written permission from your instructor. See the Park University catalog for additional information regarding 'Incompletes.'

What if I experience difficulties with my instructor?

After experiencing any difficulty, the first recommendation is to approach your faculty member after class or during their established office hours (per the syllabus) to share your concern or difficulty. However, if your instructor:

  • Has been absent from the classroom a noticeable amount of time (instructors are required to participate in classroom activities at a minimum of every 48 hours)
  • Does not answer your questions to your satisfaction or in a timely manner outlined in the class syllabus
  • Has not graded any assignments to date
  • Has not handled other concerns to your satisfaction

    • Enrollment services exists to help you graduate on time and on budget. They will assist you in your course enrollments, adjustments, and advising on your academic next steps. Your student success coach and, if assigned, faculty advisor, are listed in your MyPark student portal.

    • The Office of the Registrar is in charge of registration compliance. The registrar are responsible for keeping permanent records and maintaining your student file (including transcripts).
